Katrina Elam

This is due to all of the email requests for this album I get. It was shelved. Katrina is no longer with the company and no longer has control over these songs. If it ever does get released I'll take down my listing, until then there is no harm in sharing it for those fans of hers who are dying for "new" music. I'm also including her early demo album that got her signed. Enjoy and say thank you in the comments since this was a HIGHLY requested post. If I get enough comments on this I have about 3 albums worth of other demos by Katrina as well.

Turn Me Up:

1. Flat on the Floor
2. Pretty
3. Love Is
4. Might As Well Be Me
5. Guess
6. Baby Come Over
7. That’s My Man
8. Backwoods Man
9. Take Me, I’m Yours
10. If Your Love Was A Rock
11. My Little Lady Who

I was just thinking of posting this request yesterday. Then I saw that others had been requesting it. The demo album is much appreciated.

Thank you kindly!

By the way, do you know when "What’ll It Take" was first available?

Hey Brad, I believe she would have been 14-15 when she recorded it, just before her publishing deal which was at 16.

Oh Yes! Thank you!!! Could you also post "Bottled Up Demo Sessions"?

Bad_Girls_Lament said...

@levlui Like I said in the post, if there is enough interest I have about 3 albums (over 30) demos I'm also willing to share.

I'm also interested about song "Repo Man". Do you have it?

Bad_Girls_Lament said...

I do have Repo Man

OK. I am interested in all 3 demo albums and will be waiting for sharing them. Thanks for attention.

B_G_L,

Thanks for the information. I would also be greatly interested in other Katrina tunes including the demo sessions.

Thank you for your consideration!

I would LOVE the other unreleased Kat music. I used to have it and I lost all of it when my computer crashed :[

Oh and I was wondering if you had a copy of 'Burnin Moonlight'? I miss that song So friggin' much :[

I've never heard Burnin' Moonlight OR a non-crappy recording of Lord Help Me (the only version I've heard was someone using their laptop mic full of his to record the song as it played on myspace). It's one of those songs I assumed didn't actually exist as I've been unable to find anyone who actually had it or shared it with anyone.

I used to have BM. I lost all my Kat music when I had to get a new laptop. If I ever come across it again, I'll gladly share it. I hope you decide to post your other Kat stuff soon. Thanks for all of this though :]

Believe me there is sooooo much interest...I would love to compare songlists if there is a way to get in contact with you. I have about 45 demos I would love to see if you have as well.

Rubywaves reach out to me at theaterboi01@aol.com. I'd love to compare as well. I have about 89 Katrina Elam tracks and would love to compare as well.

Just discovered your site and downloaded both of Katrina's albums. I have loved her since I first heard her and it's a shame that these two recordings never were released. It would be great for those of us who so much like her music if you post the others you have in your collection, but in any event, these two are greatly appreciated.

I would love to hear more Katrina Elam demos.

Found this website through a google search. Do you happen to have the demo for "Lord Help Me"? It made it's way onto a newcomers album and I'd love to hear Katrina's version.

I don't have Lord Help Me in a good quality. There is a really crappy version a fan recorded off MySpace where you also hear their aptop's inner fan but otherwise I have yet to run across a clean rip.

Thank you for this site! I am a huge Katrina fan and just lost a "Turn Me Up" demo on eBay :-( Sure wish she would release some more music.Hard to understand why some singers make it big and some don't. Katrina has a wonderfully powerful voice that should have taken her to the top. Just a bad break with the record company closing just when she was on the way up.

Thank you for these downloads! I love Katrina. I think she could totally out sing Carrie Underwood. I came across her debut album and I love the whole thing. Then I saw Pure Country 2 and loved it more than the original. I'd rather listen to her sing Lord Help Me, Change, and Flat On The Floor than Carrie.
