Since I am a true lover of Holiday tunes (even though I don't celebrate Christmas, I celebrate Yule) I've decided to Upload some of my favorite albums this week. The first is last year's Sugarland Holiday EP which I have dubbed "Sugar Cookies" since it seems fitting. 'Tis the season

The tree is up, my blues and rock are swelling from the little speakers attached to my ipod. I just spent the afternoon putting on my own mini concert on my second floor. I covered the basics of course, Bettye LaVette, Tina Turner, P!nk, Over the Rhine, Ashley Monroe, Christina Aguilera, Dana Owens (Queen Latifah) ect ect... it was fun to relax and just belt my lungs out with no one around to hear me. Sometimes having a house full of people I forget just how much I value my privacy now and when I was younger. Being alone never frightend me.. in fact I kind of like it!! That said.. I'm off.
