So lately I've been wanting to update, but I've been hooked into one genre of music lately (the blues) and can't seem to pull out of it and dont' want to flood my blog with too much of the same style of music.. so merely for random updating's sake here is the new Dresden Doll album "No, Virginia"

This is a song that resonates with me ever since the first time I heard it.. I was so happy to stumble on the full video of it.. even if the song past the intro is watermarked and a little "tin microphone" sounding... its still a great song..

Life is sweeet...

Ever have one of those moments in life where you so happy and excited you almost feel like your about to hyperventilate? That's me right now. I just downloaded a SECOND live Over the Rhine show. They always do two back to back dates at Canal Street Tavern and they were both taped by fans. Over the Rhine is a taper friendly band, for which I am ever grateful. I've tried not to post about them on this blog so far... mostly due to my addiction to them.. I mean I have well over 8GB of music on my MAC that is JUST Over the Rhine! Anywho here are links to download or stream and listen to the latest shows. Kudos out to both Keith and Shawn for taping these and getting them uploaded so quickly.

So I like this girl.. Pop Rock with just a touch of real edge.. the songs themselves are catchy with some good lyrics thrown in as well.. who knows how many she's recorded but she's only had 3 singles released, but hopefully we'll get more some day but for now here's what I can gather that features Ryan on vocals.. and as typical some crappy artwork I've cobbled together as well. I've decided to call the EP "Curtain Call" because I think it fits...
